Essie - Don't sweater it

Today's post is a review about essie's Don't sweater it from the fall collection 2012. This is a lovely basic grayish brown color. If you want color but still want a natural look.

Now the color may look very plane and boring but it's not! Yes it does not have special effects but because it is so basic it matches every outfit. This color can go with anything and for any occasion! Work, School anything!

Excuse my cuticles I am working on keeping them looking nice but it's an on going process!

As you can see the color is fully opaque and there are no streaks or smudges. It has the usual awesome Essie quality, great wide brush that makes applying this color very easy. Great opacity within one coat, i always use two to get that glossy finished effect. And the best part is this color lasts for-ever on your nail! I had this color on my nails for I kid you not almost two weeks before I had to take it off.

This color is just amazing, as Essie colors almost always are. I used INM Out The Door Topcoat which gives it a nice glossy finish. I would give this polish 5/5 points! As I said before it's amazing!

Michael Kors 15'' Macbook Jet Set Tote And Wallet

Today's blogpost is a very special one. I am doing something new that I have never done before on my blog. I am reviewing a bag! The Michael Kors 15 '' Macbook Jet Set Tote And Wallet to be exact. I got this bag, and the matching wallet, for my 18th birthday last month. The bag was a gift from my parents and the wallet a gift from my aunt and uncle. I am extremely happy and grateful that I got these amazing gifts and want to thank my mom, dad, aunt and uncle again so much for the amazing gift!

On my hunt for the perfect bag I found it very hard to find a good review for this bag, and as it is not a readily available item it is hard to find out what it exactly looks like and whats inside ( pockets etc. )

To make it easier for future perfect bag hunters I present to you:

A very detailed look into the
Michael Kors 15'' Macbook Jet Set Tote And Wallet, enjoy! :)

The bag is an open tote but has 5 pockets, the biggest one the centre pocket which is meant for your laptop. This pocket is padded for protection of your laptop, it fits a 15'' MacBook Pro or Air and any laptop smaller than that. There is also a key hook that you can clip your keys on to so you don't lose them in the big bag.
These are 2 pockets the one pocket,
as seen on the picture on the left
I use for my Phone and the other
pocket I use for other loose items.
The pocket filled with my iPhone
This pocket is meant for an iPad,
I don't own an iPad so I use it for my
agenda and notebook that I use daily.

Zipped pocket, I use this pocket for
headphones, pens, lipstick etc,

My 13'' MacBook Pro fits nicely snug and protected into the laptop pocket.

Michael Kors's name is embossed onto the front of the bag with gold letters. And the logo is hung from a leather strap also on the front of the bag in a gold color cut from metal. These logo's and names are very subtle and classic. The leather is Saffiano leather which refers to the diagonal lines embossed into the leather. This design creates a very strong scratch resistant surface, ideal for business bags and briefcases. Because the leather is so durable it wears nicely and there is no maintenance, just wipe it off with a baby wipe or cloth dampened with warm water.

Now onto the wallet!
The official name of the wallet is the Michael by Michael kors Jet Set Saffiano Continental Saffiano Wallet. But I just call it the matching wallet to the purse.

The wallet matches exactly with the bag, same color, same leather, same gold detailing. It matches perfectly!

Chunky gold zipper

This is what the wallet looks like opened. There is a section for coins with a zipper. And on each side of the coin section there are 4 card slots and a big pocket. What I didn't realise when I chose this wallet was that because it is an American brand and it is made for US Dollars, the shape is longer and slimmer that the wallets made for Euro's. Euro's still fit fine in the wallet though.

The zipper can be a bit tough sometimes but if you hold the zipper straight while you zip you don't notice this.

I absolutely love this bag and wallet set. I think they are perfect for going to school, work internship etc. I also think that the color is classic and will match everything. I am so grateful to get these wonderful items as a gift!

I hope you enjoyed my review and it gave you a bit more insight into the bag!

OOTD Fun Spring Outfit

Hey guys. Today's blogpost is going to be an outfit of the day.

My ring, shirt and shoes are all from Primark. If you don't know what Primark is it is a shop, usually very large sized venues, that sells trendy and fun clothes for very low prices. I went to Primark for the first time about a week ago and bought some new spring/summer clothes.

My blazer is by WE. I have worn it before in outfits of the day but who doesn't wear their clothes twice! The thing I love most about this blazer is that it is so versatile. I can wear this blazer with a neat shirt over a neat pair of pants and it can look extremely neat and professional. And I can roll up the sleeves and wear a fun shirt with it and some casual jeans and shoes and it looks totally fun and playful!

I wore my hair in a loose ponytail because it is easy and my hair just wouldn't work loose. It just wasn't doing it for me. My earrings are from H&M, I bought them a really really long time ago so I don't think they are available any more :(

For make-up I wore my Chanel perfection lumiƩr foundation, MAC soft and gentle highlighter, Urban Decay original Naked palette on my eyes, Chanel inimitable intense mascara and Maybelline color sensational lipstick in 020 Tropical Pink on my lips.

I got my necklace for my 15th birthday. I absolutely love it and I really don't wear it enough.

My jeans are from Hollister. They are the Super Skinny model. My legs are pretty long and I have these jeans in the length regular but I would have rather had them in the longer length.

As I just got my shoes recently I wore ankle socks in the so I could break them in without getting blisters.

My nail polish is by OPI and it is called: Do You Lilac It. This color is perfect for spring time. It is fully opaque within two coats but you definitely have to be a bit careful applying it as it can get gloopy.

Primark t-shirt € 9
Primark shoes € 13
Primark ring € 3
OPI nail polish € 14
Maybelline lipstick € 10

I bought the blazer and jeans a while ago and I don't remember the exact prices.

I really enjoyed wearing this outfit and I had a fun time at Primark. I would definitely recommend going to a Primark when it is not super busy because it can get extremely busy and I always get a bit overwhelmed when that happens.

Essie - Stylenomics

Today's blogpost is a review of essie's Stylenomics. This polish is part of essie's fall collection 2012.

This is a very dark green color. It gives me a foresty feel, perfect for fall. Even though fall 2012 has passed this color is an easy transition into winter.

The color looks absolutely stunning in the bottle but alas the color doesn't transfer to the nails. On the picture below the color looks pretty accurate to the bottle but in most light it looks black. If you don't mind having the look of black nails then you probably won't mind this color and in some forms of light it does look dark green but if you want a true dark green color then I wouldn't recommend this color.

The color pay off is excellent! It is fully opaque in one coat but a second coat does put the cherry on the icing. I used INM Out the door topcoat and the color lasted for about one week. The ends did chip a little bit but it did not bother me.

I give essie's Stylenomics a 2 out of 5. I was very disappointed that the color isn't true to the color in the bottle. The quality is excellent though, as most essie polishes are.
